Troy Valve Sewage Air/Vacuum Release Valves

Typical Specifications
The body and cover shall be ductile iron. The float, rod, seat frame, pivot arms, and assembly hardware shall be stainless steel. Teflon bearing washers shall be provided at hinge points. The cover shall be equipped with an O-ring type seal. The valve shall be coated internally and externally with a high performance fusion powder coating. The valve shall be equipped to accept backflushing attachments.

The valve shall be a combination air/vacuum release type designed for wording pressures of 0 - 150 PSI standard and shall test to a minimum of 300 PSI. The valve shall have two internal valves; one large valve designed to vent the pipe during filling and proved vacuum protection after, and a smaller valve designed to proved venting of air accumulations in a pressurized line.

Operation and maintenance information shall be provided by the manufacturer. The valve shall be manufactured by Troy Valve or an approved equal.
