Extension Stem Kits – TVESK – for Buried Valves

TROY VALVE offers a kit that provides all of the parts required to make your own extension stems. The kit provides a 2” Square Operating Nut, a 2” Square Socket Coupling and a centering ring for use in a valve box. Using 1” square bar stock, that you provide, you may make custom length extensions for buried valves. Our unique design provides for both open left or open right indication from the same parts. Fasteners are included with the kit.

Extension Stems – Water & Waste Water Plant Valves

TROY VALVE manufactures custom extension stems to the specifications required for the project. Extension stems are available in diameters 1” through 2 ¼” solid bar stock and may be manufactured from steel or various stainless steel grade metals. Extension stems may also be manufactured using pipe as the extension material. Hand wheels, 2” Square Nuts, and Floor Stands are typical operators for extension stems. When specified, universal joints may be incorporated into the extension for adjustment flexibility.

Be sure to consider the need for stem guides to provide support over the length of the extension stem.
