Gear Bevell

Manual Actuation

  • Bevel gear
    • Bushing/thrust nut allows actuation at floor level out of the water with a sliding valve stem
    • Provides a greater mechanical advantage with reduced gears
    • Forms right angle from stem which enables the hand wheel to be extended closer to operator and allows safe offset applications
  • Rack and pinion gear box
    • Worm gear (self-locking mechanism) allows for safer, easier operation and infinite adjustment of valve. Gear box helps valve hold position and not settle over time.
    • Components are easy to replace for quick, economical maintenance
    • Forms right angle from stem which enables the hand wheel to be extended closer to operator and allows quick operation

Grease Fitting (Remote Lubrication System)

Grease Fitting (Remote Lubrication System for T-Valves)

Troy Valve’s own grease fitting (remote lubrication system) makes maintenance of your t-valve quicker and easier by eliminating the need to climb into the tank or drain it each time the valve needs lubricated. Simply inject the grease using a grease gun, and it will be pumped directly down to the proper location on the slip tube. The grease fitting helps keep the companion flange working when routinely exposed to atmosphere. It is also ideal for use in a dry application.
